Charlotte Flatwoods Environmental Park

Charlotte Flatwoods Environmental Park is a short easily walkable nature preserve in Punta Gorda, FL. Right off 41. Great wildlife and well maintained trails. Gators are prominent here. and they aren't shy. My wife was carrying our little one in a hiking pack so I felt safe. We saw the typical host of florida birds a great heron some pink spoon bills and some egrets. The water is clear here. A lot of 8-12 inch fish were breaching the surface.
